About me
I am a PhD candidate in Applied Mathematics at the University of Oxford. From September 2023 to May 2024, I was a Visiting Fellow at the Kenneth C. Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University, supported by the Kennedy Memorial Trust.
Background
My background is in pure mathematics, and I hold an MMath in Mathematics from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. During my undergraduate degree, I specialised in applications of mathematics to computational modelling, data analysis and complex biological processes. This led me to pursue an MSc in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing at the University of Oxford. In 2021, I began a PhD in the application of topology - the mathematical study of shape and space - to problems in the biological sciences.
At Oxford I sit within the Wolfson Centre for Mathematical Biology and Algebraic Systems Biology, and I am a member of Lincoln College. At Harvard I was affiliated with the CSElab within the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Between degrees I have worked for the Smith Institute, Sciences Po, British Council, and University of Warwick.
